I heard from a guy who knew a guy who overheard some jalopnik staff chatting one time...
that doug couldn’t afford to have his hummer towed, so after it was towed and fixed, he went back and shot some footage of it on streets and pretended it was all a segment about people’s reactions to it. and now that tow is a business expense. boom! workin’ the system!
whoever the editor in chief of jalopnik is this week, reject that expense claim!

Haha. This is an interesting theory. However the hole in it is that I would, by some crazy decision, drive this vehicle for my own personal use and somehow not be using it as a business expense.
Every moment in this car is tax deductible. Mwahahahahaha
The tow, however, was Triple-A and free.

I was really hoping that the tow story involved a confused tow truck driver that showed up with a truck that was too small to tow your hummer since that’s what happened to me when I rolled my pickup on the way to Sno*Drift on year.
